Dr. Richard
Ojima M.D.

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Richard Ojima graduated with honors from the University of Washington Medical School and completed his residency at several prestigious hospitals in the Los Angeles area, including MLK Community Hospital, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Hospital.

After several years in private practice, Dr. Ojima joined occupational and industrial medicine services provider Stacy Medical Center in Los Angeles as a partner in 2010, and most recently served as Medical Director for the Alameda Industrial Medical Group in Los Angeles.

After serving nearly two decades in occupational and industrial medicine, Dr. Ojima returned home to Tacoma, Washington in 2021 to open WORKCare Clinic Tacoma, a full-service occupational /industrial medical clinic dedicated to providing fast, premium-quality medical services to Puget Sound employers and employees.

In 2023, Dr. Ojima transitioned his practice to the well-established Occupational Medical Clinic of Tacoma in Fife, ensuring continuity of care for his existing patients while expanding consumer access to comprehensive occupational health services.
